A 1/4" compression olive is a brass olive used in 1/4" compression fittings. Olives, also known as ferrules, are used in compression fittings to create a water tight seal. They are placed on the pipe between the compression nut and the main fitting body. Once the fitting is applied, the olive is squeezed up against it, then the nut is brought down the pipe and screwed to the fitting.
Carriage and packing is charged to destinations in the UK and Northern Ireland, except when other arrangements have been agreed. For overseas consignments we may contact you to advise on any additional carriage costs if required for your destination.
Our normal method of despatch is by post/road. Despatch by other methods will be subject to an extra charge.
